Rare Farm Acreage on Over 330' of Waterfront
click picture to enlarge

Current owner’s vision for building would be to have a tree lined driveway curved to access the centre of the property, where an equestrian centre with riding ring, machinery sheds & small barn would be situated. From this area the driveway would be extended to circle down towards waters edge for location of principle residence.

Access to beach is in place via small pathway. Owner keeps a canoe on the bank above the high tide mark.

Farm taxes are maintained as neighbouring farmer leases the property for farm purposes & about 600 bales of hay are harvested each year. The farmer would like to continue this practice if the new buyer is so inclined. Arrangements would have to be confirmed in writing.

The owner has provided the following history:

"The property was cleared between 1884 & 1930, then again in the 1950’s. It has been in farm production for over 100 years. Even 30 years ago some mixed farming was done...later years simply pasture.

From 1910 onwards there were about 400 fruit trees planted on what is now Lot 5. There are about 10 heritage fruit trees remaining. Old varieties of apples on the property include Bittenheimer apple tree (which is a "pie" apple) & couple of Little Ladies (old English varieties) ".

* 10 Acre lot size is approximate.
